Third graders had a goal to reach 350,000 total words read for the second six weeks. We read 500,332 words BEFORE the six weeks ended! We love reading!!

The proactive storybook character pumpkins are displayed in the elementary library! You can visit anytime to view the pumpkins or join us next Thursday, October 31 at 7:10 am for Book Club to read with your children and take AR tests in the library!

Junior & Senior Parents - Herff Jones/West Texas Graduation Services will be on campus today to hand out packets for senior rings (Juniors) and cap & gown information (Seniors). Herff Jones/West Texas Graduation services will return on October 29th after lunch to take orders for both juniors and seniors. Please contact Mrs. Barclay if you have any questions.
Students attended WT A&M Preview Day in Canyon. Students were able to take a tour of campus, attend the block party with a meal, and attend the football game in the new stadium.
Junior High Football Time Change. Game will start at 5:00 Thursday October 24 in Morton. JV Game will follow.
Germ Blast visited this week to demonstrate proper hand washing, coughing into the elbow, and avoiding germs out in public!

High school students are building their new robots and setting up the playing field. We are excited about participating in First Tech Challenge (FTC) this year.

I want to thank everyone for your help with the pick up process. We were able to dismiss in approximately 4 minutes safely! I want to thank you in advance for continuing to make this a safe and timely dismissal.
MISD needs your help. Our current drop off and pick up procedure in front of the elementary is causing a concern. We will have the sidewalk curb clear from the administration area to the gym. You may park on the sidewalk area if you are getting out of the vehicle. Please leave the closest lane to the sidewalk open. Meaning, there should not be any parked/stalled vehicles on that lane. This will allow room for people to pull out and open a spot. The drop off lane will be the outer one. With your help we can make this a safer process. Thank you!
I am so proud of my cross country runners today! High school boys are District Champs, the high school girls are District runner ups, Kate smith placed 6th and Keira Acosta placed 7th for junior high! So proud of all my kiddos they did Awesome! Regionals here we come!
The Meadow Broncos are the district 7-1A boys cross country champions!! The Lady Broncos are the second place team in the girl’s division.
Our Meadow FFA family had a great time Friday at Main Event. Great bunch of kids!
