Secondary parents,
I wanted to make you aware of a contest we are having with our JH and HS students. Starting tomorrow until the last day of the semester on December 21st...if your student has perfect attendance, their name will be entered into a drawing. At lunch on December 21st I will draw one name and that student will receive $100 cash. If your student misses for a school event, that will not count against them. All other absences will count.

This past week Mrs. Alaniz's 2nd grade class and Mrs. Guzman's 5th grade home room read Balloons Over Broadway during Reading Buddies and learned all about the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Today, they treated the rest of the Elementary to their very own Meadow Thanksgiving Parade. 💜💛

The times for tomorrow's Thanksgiving Lunch have been changed. The lunch times have changed in order to accommodate all families and students. We ask that you please show up right when your student's lunchtime starts. All families will enter through the front two doors of the gym.

Jenna Wesley, Meadow Elementary's 4th and 5th ELAR and 4th Social Studies teacher, was anonymously nominated and received the Celebrate Teachers Award from KMAC and Carpet Tech. We think she's pretty awesome, too. She has a love for education and her students and is a great asset to Meadow ISD. Congratulations on a well-deserved award, Mrs. Wesley!💜💛

Please make note of the changes in JH/ Elem UIL leaving times to Morton. First bus will leave at 6:45am and second bus will leave at 8:00am. Contest times and bus schedules attached.

Mrs. Guzman makes science so fun. The 4th Grade Science class made their own solar ovens to cook s’mores today. The use of science vocabulary and dedication to the project even after how windy it was made their treat at the end all worth it! Big thank you to the Dominos Pizza in Brownfield for donating the boxes. Such a fun project to end the forms of energy unit!

Picture Retakes are tomorrow (11/8). If a student was absent or needs to retake a picture, it will be done tomorrow. So, pick out your picture ready outfit tonight! 📸
