
Students in Mrs. Rance's CTE classes are having fun exploring different careers by using virtual reality headsets. Region 17 purchased the headsets for students to use to help with career exploration in many different areas, even simulating a knee surgery! Pretty cool use of technology.





ELEMENTARY: Pay $1 to represent your favorite sports team. Wear a shirt, a jersey, a hat...Deck all out and show your spirit! If you participate, please pay your teacher.


Juniors and seniors! Due to cold conditions in the morning, Texas Tech is delaying classes and have asked that we change our tour date. We will not be going to tomorrow. Stay warm!

Meadow ISD will be taking a student fan bus to the out of town games during district. The bus will be open to all 3-12 graders. Permission forms will go out tomorrow. Seating is first come first served and when the bus is full we will not be able to accept more passengers. Students will be subject to the MISD dress code and Student code of conduct. Students will need money to get into the games($2) and money for snacks. The first trip will be to Morton on Friday night. The bus will leave at 4:45 pm.

ALL ABOARD!! Elementary students boarded the Polar Express for a magical afternoon. Each student was given their own tickets that were punched where they entered to enjoy the movie, hot chocolate, sugar cookies and jingle bells.
Special shout outs to the following people:
Mrs. Autry for the amazing train and ticket booth that greeted the students;
Mr. Atcheson for punching each student's ticket;
Mrs. Rance's FCS classes for baking the yummy cookies; and
Tosha Carroll and PTO for providing the delicious hot chocolate.











Burleson Elementary had two very special visitors this morning! Thank you Santa and Mrs. Claus for traveling from the North Pole to see the students!


The elementary Christmas program was last Thursday, the 14th. I think it was our best yet!!

Just a reminder we will have school Monday-Thursday of next week. Thursday will be an early release day. Students will be released at 12:55 on Thursday for Christmas Break.

I want to personally thank everyone who had a hand in running off the Meadow Tournament this past week. A special thanks to the Meadow FFA boosters for providing the concessions. Thanks to all the MISD employees who pitched in by running the clock or book and taking the gate. I appreciate our Ag teachers for helping with the cooking and keeping the shop open. A special thanks to our coaching staff for making the tournament special for our kids but also the schools who attended. Thanks to all who attended and we'll see you next season bigger and better than ever.

We have a QR Code for the students to scan to reserve a time slot for you to come and work with them. As a reminder, FAFSA is a graduation requirement now and is no longer optional. Please plan to be here in the Media Center that day during your reserved time!
