Congrats to our JH robotics students! All 4 Meadow teams placed in the top 15 in the Middle School Division of the Texas Tech 2021 GEAR Robotics competition. The middle school division included 78 teams from 1A to 6A schools in Texas.

The fifth grade students had a wonderful time today at the Farm Tour for Kidz! The students learned about farming, ranching, water conservation, and so much more! We are thankful for the experiences our local community has to offer our students! Thank you to all those who dedicated time and resources to provide our students with hands-on learning!





Junior high students (6-8) will be going to the book fair on Tuesday 4-27 in the elementary during their Reading class. This is a reminder to bring money if you want to purchase something.

Junior High Robotic teams did awesome at today’s virtual competition! Their competition includes a trial run video score, engineering design video, and two rounds today in front of Dr Karp from Texas Tech. Results will be announced next week.

The 2021 Texas Tech Area CDE's: Area 2 Ag. Mechanics contest was held Saturday, April 17th on the TTU campus.
Meadow's team placed 4th overall missing qualifying for state by a small margin. Junior classman Niko Castaneda placed 6th overall among individuals. The team was rounded out with talented individuals: Josiah Rodriguez, Senior; Ramon Rodriguez, Senior; Nick Rodriguez, Sophomore.
Team members plan to take lessons learned this year and apply them to qualify for state next year. We could not be more proud of these individuals.

Meadow Varsity Cheer Squad has started selling tickets for taco plates. Each plate is $10 and comes with 3 tacos, rice, beans, and a piece of sopapilla cheesecake.
You may pick up your plate on May 5 between 11-2 pm from FCS kitchen.


Another Congratulations to Brady Caswell on getting 2nd overall player and advancing to the State Golf Tournament as an individual.


Congratulations to the Meadow Boys Golf Team. They placed 3rd overall as a team and are advancing to the State Golf Tournament.


A friendly reminder that tomorrow is PICTURE DAY!

What a great day for Meadow FFA! We had 4 of our teams compete at the Texas Tech Area CDE competition Saturday. Nursery/Landscape got 1st place and qualified for STATE!!! Ag Mechanics was 4th, Entomology was 8th, and Poultry was 13th. I am very proud how hard these kids worked !
