Brady Parker and Nyomi Alvarado represented Meadow FFA proudly tonight at the Ag Texas banquet. Nyomi received a scholarship! Very proud of both our senior Meadow FFA students!
Great day for Meadow FFA at the Mesa District FFA meeting! Dylan Paiva was elected District Secretary and he also achieved 1st place in Extemp. speaking advancing to Area. Kiera Acosta received 1st place and Julia Hernandez was 2nd place in Spanish Creed. Both of them will advance to the Area round. We also picked up 9 more banners earned in our Spring CDE competitions. Congrats to all Meadow FFA members!

Meadow High School robotics teams at the State TCEA Advanced Arena Robotics competition competed against 57 teams from schools of all sizes (1A-6A). Eddie Garcia, Riley Halford and Armando Soto placed 19th and were only 3 spots away from making it to the Finals! Addison Garcia, Matthew Magana and Korbin Young placed 36th. Students also toured The Texas Capitol. These 2 Bronco Bots teams did an excellent job of representing Meadow at the state level.
Biology STAAR Review Roundup was a success! We started off the morning playing Kahoot over the different organelles and the roles they play. We did different card sorts over the differences between animal and plant🌱 cells. Students also reviewed macromolecules, cell transport, and body systems🧠🫁🫀. Overall students enjoyed reviewing the concepts. Thank you to all who helped out and attend! Thank you for sharing your time with NHS and I! We hope to do this again next year.
