First grade received their reward for winning Attendance March Madness today. They were treated to lunch and fun games at 50th Street Caboose. As an additional treat, a generous gentleman bought the entire 1st grade Bahama Bucks. He was at 50th Street Caboose with his own son and was impressed by our 1st grade group and wanted to treat them. Thank you, Kris Zepeda, for your kindness and generosity! It was greatly appreciated and yummy! Mr. Zepeda is a former Seagraves Eagle and current Lubbock ISD board member who just wanted to give back to a small school today.
Kindergarten Walk with the Seniors will be Thursday, May 25th, in the Elementary at 8:00am. Elementary End of the Year Awards will follow at 8:30 in the gym. The order of awards presentations are as follows:

Ryder Day competed in LD debate and Trevor Brockway competed in science at the state meet in Austin. They had the honor of meeting Representative Dustin Burrows and touring the state capitol.

A huge thank you to Wellman-Union ISD for raising money for the Wes Woodard Scholarship. Wes's legacy will continue to live on through this scholarship.
Students will be dismissed on Thursday, May 25th at 12:55pm. Buses will run at 1:00pm. Have a great summer!!

Elementary Field Day is tomorrow (5/17). Please make sure your child is dressed in comfortable clothes they can move in and tennis shoes. They will need a water bottle, and it is suggested they bring sunscreen as well. Parents and family members are welcome to attend.

Tate McBee battled rain and a weather delay to finish 3rd and earn a bronze medal at the State Track Meet with a personal record of 12'6!! We are so happy and proud of Tate. What a way to close out his athletic career in Meadow. Great job Tate. Go Broncos.
West Texas is the best Texas!! Thank you to Abernathy ISD and Sundown ISD!! They raised almost $700 for the Wes Woodard Scholarship. The outpouring of love, prayers and generosity has been incredible.
